| The virus Love (1997): The film begins with the story of Jim Douglas and "memory" of the first film clips. The narrative concludes Herbie is now owned by an arrogant Scotsman named Simon Moore III (John Hannah), who abuses and insults to Herbie Herbie is the last in a race, not wanting to obey Simon. Furious, Simon sends Herbie the junkyard. Meanwhile, Hank Cooper (Bruce Campbell), a mechanic in a small garage, is told to participate in a race and convinced to buy Herbie. Judges are Donny Shotz (Micky Dolenz) a car enthusiast; Alex (Alexandra Wentworth), an old love of Hank; and Simon. When Herbie and Hank have won the race, Alex Hank questions, and he gives her a ride, in which Herbie leads to a secluded road.
